1.20 -The void and end phase 2 is a minor update on both Java and Bedrock edition, it updates the void and a little bit of the end.
Changes to the void[]
- Falling into the void in the end teleports you somewhere random at build limit in the overworld
- falling into the void in the overworld teleports you at build height limit in the nether above the bedrock roof
- The only place if you fall in the void you will 100% die is in the nether
Changes to the end[]
- The end is now floating islands, however, it is not possible to fly up in the overworld and enter the end
- Shulkers now have a 8% chance to drop 3 shulker shells
- Shulkers now have a 2.5% chance to drop 4 shulker shells
- A shulker now always spawns on the roof on a ruined end house
- Enchanted apples have a 3% chance to spawn in End City chests (2.5% Java Edition)
Other changes[]
- Shulker box crafting recipe is now shapeless
- Beacon's pyramids can now be made of enderite blocks
- Beacons can be powered with Enderite ingots
- Added Enchanted Golden carrots
- All drinkables (Soup, stew, drinkable potions, honey bottles, water bottles) stack up to 16 now
- Snowballs and Eggs stack up to 64 now
- Enchanted golden apple's name is now changed to enchanted apple (Java Edition)
- Shulker boxes can be dyed and recolored using cauldrons now (Java Edition)
Bedrock Edition 1.20.10[]
Bedrock Edition 1.20.10 is only for bedrock edition, and java edition has no 1.20.1.
Added[]
- Ender spider: Currently unused and is an experimental mob.
- Has its own spawn egg
- Is a normal spider but purple
- Deals 1 heart in easy, 2 hearts in normal, and 2.5 in hard
- has 10 hearts
- Effects you with poison for 3 seconds
- Ender pearls now stack up to 32
- Fixed bug where sometimes falling into the void in the end will teleport you to world spawn
