Chapter 1 - Mineluck![]
"Whoa," Steve said.
Steve could not believe how lucky he is. He was in a mine, with Alex and Robin. After he had found hundreds (yes, HUNDREDS) of coal ore, he just found tons of silver and iron.
"You have all of your weapons enchanted with Fortune III, remember?" Alex asked.
"I know... But still, is it supposed to give me THIS much luck?" Steve asked, distractedly. He was mining the silver and iron ore.
"I don't know. But you know what? You know, when..." Whatever Alex was about to say was interrupted by Robin.
"Hey, look! I found a bunch of gems here! And also please don't act like I'm here. Where did my ruby go? Found it! Let me get that... AHHHHHH!!!!" Robin screamed.
"Are you okay?!"
But they knew he wasn't just okay.
Both Steve and Alex heard it. The sound of zombies and skeletons. They rushed to the opening of the cave. Robin, very skilled with the Recurve Bow, had killed off most of the monsters. But that wasn't what frightened them. In the massive dome, they saw a Redstone contraption, designed to kill.
Robin, now finished killing off monsters, came back to them. "WHEW. That was a lot of monsters... I need more arrows! Gees, Steve, give me some more arrows! I needed to fend off the last five WITH A SWORD. An iron sword, dude." Steve just pointed to the firing machine, now getting ready.
Robin gasped. He had never seen anything like this before. Sure, he had built some Redstone machines, and he have seen many Redstone contraptions, mostly made by Alex, master of the Redstone.
"Quickly, everyone! Give me a grenade! I need to disable this stupid killing machine before it kills all of us!" Steve looked at Robin, who shook his head.
"Nope, I don't have any grenades!"
Steve tossed Alex a grenade, and then that very moment Alex threw the grenade, arrows started firing. Since they all had a shield in their left hand, no one was injured, but when the grenade hit the Dispenser, it revealed... Kate.
"KATE?! Why are you trying to kill us?!?!" Alex said, very angrily.
"Wait, YOU WERE THE ONES MINING ALL THIS? I designed this trap to capture the disciples and their army, not you guys!"
"The disciples? Seriously, you were trying to kill the DISCIPLES with this? That is just insane, Kate," Alex said, disapprovingly.
"It was at least worth a try,"
"If we want to slay the disciples, we have to go to the go to their fortresses, and you know that. Let's go back to our base, and where the heck did you get that much ores???"
"Creative mode," Kate said, grinning.
"B. R. U. H.!"
When they got to their base, Steve realized that they needed to smelt ALL of the ores to get something useful out of them.
"Umm, does anyone have a Blast Furnace?" Steve asked.
"No," Alex replied.
"Why not make one?" said Kate.
"How?"
"Craft it!"
"Oh okay... Furnace... Need cobblestone... Okay, I'm going to mine some stone, be right back" Steve called out, walking out of the room.
"Wait! I have a bunch of stone, here's a stack, catch," Robin threw a stack of stone at Steve, who caught the stack.
"Thanks,"
After Steve crafted a bunch of Blast Furnaces and got a lot of stuff, Steve and the others went to bed. If they knew what was happening in the Nether, they would've not.
Robin woke up when he heard a crying sound. He thought one of his friends was crying, so he burst out of bed, only to find the others rushing to his tower.
"Who's crying?" Robin shouted, across the massive main room.
"No one,"
Robin froze. If it's not one of us, it has to be... No, no NO. It can't be that. But... Robin stopped. Because Alex screamed.
Alex was hit by a Ghast fireball.
