"Magma slimes and swinging hooks!" - Kate
Chapter 10 - Swingin' Around[]
"Eek!" Alex screamed as she nearly caught on fire. In the morning, they had gathered the Soul Torch, located Basalt Deltas, killed some Magma Cubes (Although since Robin insisted they keep a few baby ones), and were now, from Kate's suggestion, swinging around with Grappling Hooks.
"Can't we do this somewhere else?" Steve asked, with obvious complaint in his tone.
"Yeah!" Robin backed him up. "I mean like, this place is hot, filled with magma slimes, and it's just dangerous!"
But Kate just shook her head. "Only other place like this are the Electric Caves," she said. "And it'll take way too much time and resources to build one near our base."
Robin just sighed before he swung to another column, before the Magma Cube that noticed him attacked.
They kept practicing their swings for another hour or so, and then Steve announced that they had to stop "wasting time" at Basalt Deltas, which sparked a heated argument from Kate, and that they had to get the Electric Caves ASAP.
Kate, after getting the point through that this was not "Wasting Time", agreed, with everyone else, that they should go to the Electric Caves.
Steve got out some obsidian from his inventory and quickly made the frame, and Kate ignited it. For a moment nothing happened, and the next the frame was ignited with purple energy. They then all stepped in.
They came out in a cave, near the cave opening.
"Should we go out or go deeper in?" Alex asked.
"Out," Robin answered.
"Deeper in," Steve said at the same time, and they both glared at each other.
They argued for a few more minutes, and then just decided to go out.
They fought a trio of zombies and killed them easily, and in a few minutes they were outside. The land they were in didn't seem to be affected by the Witherstorm, nor the Cyberstorm.
A Stormer was patrolling the area, and they all hid for a few minutes. When it was gone, Kate produced a Command Block from her seemingly infinite inventory.
"I'm going to do command /locatebiome," she explained as she tapped at the keys. "And it can teleport us."
Kate tinkered around for a few minutes, with a frown forming in her face. Alex was the one to notice it first.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"Just that.. Since we're going to teleport into a Cave, there's a good chance that we'll teleport into a block and suffocate... Yeah, we will.... We'll have to dig," Kate concluded with a sigh.
"So let's dig!" Robin said and took out an Iron Shovel.
"Not that, but this." Kate tossed a Netherite Shovel and a Pickaxe to the other three and kept a pair for herself. "Now let's dig."
