It's all over, folks. Time to go home.

This article, its content as described, or at the very least something of the same name, has been confirmed canon in Minecraft. As such it is no longer a fanon article and should either be archived or, if the content disparity is great enough, be renamed to continue editing. Thanks for playing and have a lovely day.

Copper ingots are versatile (bit more than gold, less than iron) copper ingots used extensively in crafting.

Obtaining[]

Gold Ingots are mainly obtained by smelting Copper Ore. See the Natural Generation section below for more ways to find the ingots.

Crafting[]

1 Block of Copper = 9 Copper Ingots

9 Copper Nuggets = 1 Copper Ingot

Smelting[]

Copper Ore + any fuel makes Copper Ingots.

Natural Generation[]

Copper Ingots have a 25.5% chance to spawn in Village Blacksmith chests, in stacks of 2-3.

Usage[]

Crafting ingredient[]

As a material for weapons, tools, and armor only, copper is not a straight upgrade from gold. Attack power and durability tends to be low.

9 Copper Ingots = 1 Block of Copper.

1 Copper Ingot = 9 Copper Nuggets.

It can also be used to make an Axe, Hoe, Sword, Pickaxe, Shovel, Helmet, Tunic, Leggings, Boots and Copper Wire.

Repairing[]

The tools, Sword and armor can be repaired using a copper ingot and an anvil.

History[]

Copper Ingots were introduced in 1.17 - The City Update.
