Corruptinium Crystal is a gem from the Void. It generates in the Between-space and Voidwarp Corruption.

Details

Corruptinium Crystal is a dark purple color. It has an animated texture in which it "pulsates" from dark to lighter and back.

It must be mined with a Celestis Crystal pickaxe to drop an item.

If Corruptinium Crystal blocks or ores are mined, they will cause a large explosion around 1.5x the size of a TNT block. They destroy the normal range of blocks in addition to end stone and Blackstone. When a Corruptinium Crystal block or ore explodes, any other Corruptinium Crystal blocks or ores which are impacted by the explosion will also explode instantly, causing a chain reaction. When mining, the explosion can be prevented by carrying one or more Blank Sinmurs in the inventory.

The dropped item form of Corruptinium Crystal cannot be destroyed by explosions, causing it to drop even if the explosion is not prevented.

Due to generating in Voidstone, its ore form has a darker, teal texture.

Generation

Corruptinium Crystal Ore generates sparsely in ore clusters of 1 to 4 on islands in the Between-space.

It generates in large pillar-like structures meant to resemble larger crystal structures in the Voidwarp Corruption. These
