Season Two of Creatures of the Void is titled "Secret of the Daydream", and centers around Steve and Alex searching for their lost teammates.
Summary[]
The player named Steve, with the help of his new love Alex, has thrown off the shackles of the controlling demon Muriminus, and allied with his closest enemy. But the fallout from his last fight remains. Two of his player friends, Jennifer and Samuel, are missing and possibly dead, with their only clue being a cryptic piece of paper reading "marvelous daydream". The composite monster called Omnibrine has been split into eight humanoids flung to the corners of the earth, and each one wants a piece of him.
Meanwhile, over one thousand years in the past, a deadly war rages across the land. Two mages, one a dark magician and one an earth magician, fight alongside each other under the command of the great wizard Edward. Surviving major battles and winning many fights, their strength is put to the test when their story and Steve's become inextricably intertwined in a way that threatens the entire world.

The season began on January 31, 2017, and is still continuing.
The season introduced a new serial format of writing style, and from S2 onwards the story is written more in multi-chapter stories than in long-running chapter-by-chapter style.
The first serial has five independent chapters, and is much less contiguous than Season One's previous chapters. It partly serves as an epilogue to S1's third serial, and partly as a prologue to the entirety of Creatures of the Void.
