Day 5
I didn't really know what to do today. I thought that it would be nice to have an Iron Golem guarding my property, but then I realized I didn't have any Pumpkins. Then I remembered from yesterday night that I saw a Patch near. I got out, only to get attacked by a few Creepers. One blew up, killing the other 5, but it did some damage to property. Fortunately for me, the explosion didn't reach the house itself, so it only took me about 20 minutes to get it all right again. Then, I went looking for the patch, then remembered that I forgot my pickaxe (I accidentally took my hoe, don't ask me why). When I got back out again, a lone Skeleton shot me. I first didn't know where the arrow had came from, then found a Skeleton taking shelter under a tree. I got back in my house AGAIN to craft 4 Blades to craft a Shuriken. I sliced the offending Skeleton in half (it was also rattling some curse words in Skeleteen or something). I didn't even bother to pick up its drops, but then, having more resources is always better, isn't it? I reluctantly forced myself to go and pick it up. Finally, I put on my half-broken Iron Armor and got out to search for the patch.
I found the patch fairly quickly. It didn't even take me five minutes. I smiled. And sure enough, there was a lot of pumpkins, as well as melons. I hoped it would have sugar canes, but there wasn't any. I shrugged it off for now, but I would really need some new notebooks in the next week or so, since my journal that came with spawn was already running out. Only like a dozen pages left. Huh.
When I returned to my house, I crafted a shear using two Iron Ingots and carved a pumpkin. Then I crafted three iron blocks and for the fourth block... Well, I didn't have enough Ingots. There wasn't enough time to go to the cave again, mine, and return until it was dark, so that was pretty disappointing. I just decided to grab my hoe and axe and do nothing much except for cutting leaves and gathering wood, but at least I had time to write in my journal and sleep. Zzzz.
