The Drowned Sapper is an aquatic mob. It is an undead mob that wears a turn of the century diving suit, and uses a welding torch to attack the player. The drowned sapper can destroy blocks with its underwater welding torch to open passageways into players' underwater bases and let in other hostile mobs.
The drowned sapper spawns in underwater Mob Sieges. Drowned Sappers only spawn on the Hard difficulty, or Hardcore gamemode.
If fought on land, Drowned Sappers can light the player on fire. Once killed, they may drop damaged Diving Suit armor pieces.
