"Shall the fire, the water, the souls, the interreality... Come hunt you down, for all undead's sake, with your head as the honor... Of my revenge, with hundreds of souls you have slain, and our revenge, and the alternate dungeon to endure this forever." - An unknown force at the end of the DLC, possibly one of the Dungeon Golems or Shadowed Corpse.

Overview[]

Dungeon's Revenge is the first DLC in the Call of the Wither multiverse, as this is based in one of the universes of the many. All credits to FinicksFinicks, both idea and creation.

Story[]

Not related to any of the main storyline from Minecraft Dungeons.

Many years after the events of Echoing Void, the Hero (player) finds himself in a massive dungeons with many of the unknowns. the Hero immediately tried to escape but an unknown force, which is later revealed to be the Dungeon Golems, closes the only entrance known, other one being guarded by the Shadow, the most monstrous enemy that the Hero has ever encountered, stronger than the Jungle Abomination, Wretched Wraith,Nameless One, Ancient Guardian, or even the Vengeful Heart of Ender. With all-new enemies to fight and brand-new weapons and armor, will you survive this mysterious dungeon?

Progression[]

The progression of the game is quite simple, as they are covered in "scenes" and "missions". Scenes are like movie scenes, short clips and you cannot control your avatar during scenes. This is such as the part of entering the cave, as it is needed to progress into the game, as well as the possibility of abusing such a feature to gather resources or blast the cave, which has a chance to happen if Scenes are not implemented.

Missions, on the other hand, are the part of the DLC that you can actually play. Since you bought the game to play the game, there are considerably more Missions than Scenes. You can customize your skin, by inserting your own custom texture, or by picking out a skin from the default skins.

Trivia[]

  • First concept that I made before the content was displayed in the Call of the Wither storyline.
  • Creating DLCs are pretty fun, not gonna lie.
