Spessartite is an orange gemstone that can be crafted into armor and tools like any other material. Spessartite can be mined in the form of Spessartite Ore which can then be smelted.
Spessartite is a more obscure material, as it is rarer than diamonds but not quite as effective as them. The Spessartite sword deals as much damage, and the helmet, and chestplate protect against as much damage, as their diamond counterparts, however, they are far less durable. Spessartite tools have 400 durability exceeding Iron's 250 but falling far below Diamond's 1561. Spessartite cannot be used in creating Netherite.
Spessartite is mostly used for decoration. Spessartite tools and armor can be displayed on item frames and armor stands, respectively, and the material can be used in Sword Customization.
