Not to be confused with Piglins
Pigmen were a race of pig-like humanoids who once inhabited the Overworld and Nether. They were known for their fondness of Ruby and gold. They were among the first intelligent beings to walk the earth of Minecraftia. Pigmen are now extinct, however but their descendants remain alive.
Pigmen are the ancestors of today's Testificate and Piglin races, along with the hoglin. Pigmen themselves are, joining extinct Pig Creepers and modern pigs, descended from the Ancient Pig.
Pigmen were neutral, and willing to trade various items for precious Rubies.

Trivia[]
- The idea of pigmen was created by Minecraft user Miclee.
- For his suggestion, Miclee recieved a special cape, the bacon cape. Miclee was one of two users who received capes for suggesting features, the other being billyK_, who created turtles. Sadly, Miclee's bacon cape was removed, even though billyK_ still has his, as Notch was being pestered by many users to give them their own personal capes.
