Crystal Eye is not truly evil.
Chapter 3 - Ice vs Electricity[]
The person who attacked Marty was in a Stealth Suit, so Marty could only see the attacker's eyes. His eyes were Crystal Ice Blue, so Marty nicknamed him Crystal Eye.
The only reason Marty was alive was because of the Netherite Chestplate he was testing on. Crystal Eye was shocked at the fact that he was still alive, but then recovered quickly in about 5 seconds.
Marty used that 5 seconds wisely. He used his only escape. The open window. He grabbed the frame and swung out, only to realize he was doomed, as he had just jumped out of a window 500 blocks above the ground. He wasn't going to make it. Unless...
He blasted a bolt to the top of another building, and Marty just stayed there. Like an invisible rope. Or a visible electric rope.
He was relieved that he wasn't falling, so he totally forgot about Crystal Eye. Crystal Eye was now a person... Made out of ice.
Another ice bolt. It missed him by inches, and helicopters were now around them. Marty quickly covered his face and put on a Black Mask.
Marty decided to fight back. He pulled himself up to a top of a Skyscraper, and sent a bolt to Crystal Eye. It hit his right arm and knocked it off. But to his surprise, Crystal Eye regenerated his arm, and formed a Sphere on his hand.
Marty had no idea what the sphere was, but he soon found out. Crystal Eye threw the sphere at Marty, and it missed. When the Sphere landed on the roads below, though, it exploded in ice, shattering cars.
Marty blasted another bolt, but this time at another building so it'll spread and capture Crystal Eye. Crystal Eye seemed to notice his purpose, and since the military started shooting at him, he sort of... disappeared.
The helicopters, who were shooting at Crystal Eye, now was shooting at Marty. Marty tried dodging every bullet, and he was lucky for a while, but he knew that his luck would soon run out.
He wondered how Crystal Eye disappeared. No, Crystal Eye didn't disappear - he teleported. So why can't Marty do the same thing? He closed his eyes, concentrated, and thought about his apartment. The world started to spin.... And a Lightning struck Marty, ripping apart reality and teleporting him.
The next day, Marty woke up and ate some apples. A few minutes later, the newspaper arrived, and the headline snapped him awake. He gasped.
| Yesterday, on November 17, helicopters have spotted a person made totally out of Ice and an unknown person fighting in Downtown LA. The unknown person was masked and apparently possessed powers to control Electricity, as the person was seen shooting Electricity bolts. The Ice Monster, on the other hand, had a body that was completely made out of ice and shot Ice spikes. The Ice person, who we call the Cyromancer, was also shown to create Ice Bombs, as Cyromancer threw a bomb but missed and fell, blasting approximately 10 cars and causing 20 deaths, as well as 6 injured people. The fight took place across multiple buildings, and although none of the buildings have been damaged, office workers reported sudden power outages. Video footages suggest that Cyromancer was attacking the Masked Man, instead other way around, but more information is needed. Everyone, please be careful. If you see any unnatural fights such as those, report to the police. Police has declared them both Public Enemies #1. |
The last part made Marty want to cry. He had always loved Los Angeles, and now the public was declaring war on him. He knew what to do. He was supposed to hunt them down.
Little did he know that that was the very thought that almost destroyed the entire world.
