Soul Crystals are a pink, crystalline material found in The Snare. They can be used to craft tools and weapons similar to iron in damage, but not quite as durable. Soul Crystal armor and tools are translucent, able to be partially seen through. Crystal/jewel/gem monsters deal less damage against a player wearing Soul Crystal armor, and take more damage from a player using Soul Crystal weapons.
The following mobs/entities are weak against Soul Crystals:
- End Crystal
- Crystal Hand
- Gem Sentry
- Crystalline Guardian
- Geode Wisp
- Gem Golems
- Diamond Golem
- Emerald Golem
- Yerapega
Given the lack of crystal mobs outside of the Snare, the armor is mostly only useful for exploring that region.
