- Militia are Villagers at arms who attempt to defend their kind from Zombies, other hostile Mobs, and the Player (Should he/she attack a Villager).
Appearance
Militia look like normal villagers, but wearing leather boots, leggins and a leather chestplate. Their left arm is at their side, while they hold out their right arm and hold a wooden Spear in it.
Behavior
Militia will walk around the village patrolling for trouble, they will not enter buildings at night, and will follow Iron Golems around if they find them. Militia will chase after and attack any hostile mob that comes into the village, they will also attack the player if He/She attacks a villager.
If they find a saddled Horse or Pig, they will jump on them and continue their normal tasks.
Variations
Man at arms
The most basic varient, they wear a Leather chestplate, leggings, and boots, they are armed with a wooden sword and spawn primairily in small villages.
Hoplite
The Strongest Militia variant (not open to debate), they wear full Bronze armour and an Iron Spear, they spawn mainly within large villages. They resemble a taller version of the player.
Archer
While of course not as strong as Hoplites, they specialize in ranged combat, they have bows and will shoot arrows at hostile mobs, they have no armour except leather boots. They resemble villagers with a gray robe.
Knight
A Knight, wearing chain armour and wielding an Iron sword, the Knight is, while not as powerful as the hoplite, a force to be reckoned with. They resemble a mix between the player and a villager.
Structures:
In addition to being found in the Npc Villages, Militia occupy their own structures.
Overworld Fortress
A 6 floor tall building used to defend from, as well as regroup to, and launch attacks from. Made out of primmarily Stone Bricks, along with Moss stone bricks and Broken Stone bricks scatterd amongst the standerd stone bricks.
- Floor one: A rather bland floor with some chests to store non-valuable items (Bones, Rotten flesh, Feathers, dyes, ect.
- Floor 2: A training room floor, with some scarecrows and chests containing Pumkins and Fences.
- Floor 3: An Armory, Contains 3 Anvils, a lot of furnaces and some lava storage areas.
- floor 4: Personal rooms, each small and having just a bed, furnace, crafting table and chest.
- floor 5: More personal rooms, each small and having just a bed, furnace, crafting table and chest.
- Floor 6: A command center room and storage room, containing an Iron door at the top of the stairs, and a meeting room for the leaders in the command center as well as all valuables in the storage room.
- Roof, the roof has some dispenser carts with the dispensers facing down to douse the enemies with lava, and some chests with Gravel, bows and arrows to drop gravel down upon enemies and shoot them from afar.
