in the sweet and salty update candy is added and the feature to go trick or treating is added in villages. 2 new types of village are added, one is called a spooky village which has increased candy rates when you go trick or treating and the other is the town which is much larger and has many more trick or treating options. a new villager called the creepy neighbor villager give you candy for free as long as you ride in his van
the salty part adds salt and pepper and you can combine them in a crafting table with certain foods to increase the amount of hunger it gives, but the salt and pepper itself cannot be consumed. for example you can craft salt and steak together to get salted steak which instead of 4 hunger bars gives 5 hunger bars. each salt and pepper shaker has 5 uses. salt shaker is collected by using a bottle on ocean water, which then can be smelted to get a salt shaker and then the pepper is just rng you can find it in like random chests that can spawn so ye this is a good update write to mojang and tell them about it
also white vans will be added as a common resource found in villages but its not really a resource its a vehicle you can drive and then if you drive in it with a creepy neighbor villager you will take 1 heart of kidnapping damage ever 5 seconds
