Testificates are one of the major races in Minecraftia, who (in most canons) evolved from Pigmen.

Testificates

Basic Testificate/Villager[]

A Basic Testificate

These are the basic breed of testificates. They tend to form and live within villages and have their own jobs. Jobs include: Farmer, Shepherd, Fletcher, Fisherman, Librarian, Cartographer, Weapon Smith, Tool Smith, Armorer, Butcher, Leatherworker, Mason, Miner, Merchant, and Priest. They worship Notch, and use emeralds as currency.

Witch[]

A Witch

Witches are testificates born with some ender-energy. They excell in potions, and tend to be solitary. They grow warts from exposure to chemicals, and have magical noses that can tell them when someone is near, smell ingredients, etc. Due to the ender influence, they have pale skin and purple-ish eyes. They worship Cthulhu. It appears that some of them are affiliated with Illagers, since some of them are included in Illager Raids.

Half Witches[]

Half witches are half witch, half player. They don't have the large noses that are common among all the breeds of testifacates. They do however have the magical powers.

Very Old Villager[]

VeryOldVillager

Very old villagers are the remains of the overgrown villages in the deep woods. They are grisled, scarred, battered, and partially blinded from surviving the horrific monsters that overran their villages. Very old villagers will trade explorer maps to the player.

Very old villagers wear a grey shirt and pants, black boots, and a tattered orange jacket. Very old villagers have the abilities of Thorns enchantment, meaning mobs that hit them will take damage. Despite this, very old villagers are vulnerable to zombies and Reclaimed from the surrounding forest.

Very old villagers do not seek employment like other villagers, as they are not meant to be in normal villages. The very old villager does have its own zombie variant, however.

Quarry Worker[]

QuarryWorker

Quarry Workers are testificates that can be found at quarries. They wield iron pickaxes and, as they are neutral, unlike normal villagers, will use them to defend themselves if provoked. Quarry workers can trade bulk amounts of resources like cobblestone, andensite, diorite, or granite to the player.

Additionally they sell Hard Hats, and can also drop them on death if killed.

Summoner[]

A Summoner

Summoners are born with even more ender power than witches, and are able to hide their purple eyes. They can manifest ender-energy into spawn eggs, and use them to their advantage. If they come into contact with too much ender energy (e.g. an eye of ender), they will become corrupted and try to kill people.

Wandering Trader[]

Wandering Trader

Wandering Traders are adventurous testificates that wander through the Overworld to find players to be traded with and Villages. They are accompanied with their trusted Llamas. They seem to have the magical ability to teleport around, and use Potions of Invisibility to hide themselves from dangers.

Wanderer[]

Main article: Wanderer

The Wanderer is a neutral mob that spawns in the Farlands. Added in Minecraft 1.25: Far Lands Update, they are adventurers who roam the Farlands with an iron sword and lantern by their side. They will attack hostile mobs on sight.

Security Guard[]

Security Guards are neutral mobs that defend other villagers and players from mob threats. They are stronger than Village Guards, but nonetheless are much weaker in comparison to the Iron Golems. They only spawn in Prisons, Banks, and Laboratories. They use non-lethal weapons and firearms to defend themselves.

Burglar[]

Main article: Burglar
Burglar

The Burglar is a neutral villager wearing all black that will break into the player's home and attempt to steal from their chests. They can be scared off by wolves, iron golems, or the player, but not always, and will sometimes attack instead.

Burglars often wield iron swords, which they may drop, alongside all their stolen items, upon death.

Cuniculturist[]

Main article: Cuniculturist

The Cuniculturist is a passive villager that takes care of the Rabbits in it's Rabbit Den. They wear green hats with a tiny emerald in the middle, a green robe with some dark green lining.

Cuniculturists will take care of rabbits and give the player rabbit-related trades and, sometimes, will lure hostile mobs away from the player. They appear to be more intelligent than the average Testificate.

Illager[]

Vindicator

Illagers are evil testificates, influenced by the dark energy. They have gray skin and different eyebrows than other Testificates. The first of them were Basic Testificates who switched to the dark side. They like to raid vilages and can even convince Witches to join their raid parties. There are many types of Illagers, like Evokers, Vindicators, Pillagers, Illusioners, Enchanters, and Geomancers. They are known to utilize dark magic and inhabit Woodland Mansions, with some of them patrolling around and building several Outposts across the Overworld, which may show they are plotting something.

The following canon Illager variants are known:

  • Pillager
  • Vindicator
  • Illusioner
  • Evoker
  • Geomancer
  • Enchanter
  • Iceologer
  • Wind Caller
  • Mountaineer

Ravager[]

Ravager

Ravagers are monstrous testificates made by Illagers. Their face slightly resemble regular villagers with green eyes, eyebrows, and a large nose. They have dark grey skin and diamond-like accessories. They are equipped with a saddle, and resemble giant bulls anatomy-wise, as they have four legs and two horns. They are very durable, and are Illagers' main companion in raids.

Dillager[]

Spear-wielding mobs added in 1.17 The Forging Update. They can throw their spears or use them in melee combat, making them very versatile. They spawn in forging rooms of pillager outposts.

Pilgrim[]

Pilgrims are illagers who sail the seas, finding new lands to take as they please. They are armed with pistols and axes. They will chop down trees and build buildings, sending expeditions out through the nearby biomes who will attack the player and villages on sight.

These patrols can be stopped by destroying the Pilgrim spawner onboard their ship.

Hunter[]

Main article: Hunter

A Hunter is an illager-like mob found in Hunter Fortresses and spawning during Hunts. They were added during 1.20: Village and Pillage II as the Nether counterpart of Pillagers. Since Piglins are like the Nether counterparts of villagers, Hunters will attack piglins and raid their bastions during Hunts.

They are also one of the few mobs to spawn naturally with shields, which is what makes them very hard to fight.

Marauder[]

Main article: Marauder

Marauders are another Nether illager added in 1.20. They spawn randomly throughout the Nether, attacking everything but Zoglins and Hunters, and have a double chance of spawning during Hunts. Although they attack almost everything, Marauders will focus on piglins and variants.

Soarer[]

IoI Soarer Soldier

The Soarers are a new occupation of Illagers exclusive to the Imperialism of Illagers series. Unlike other Illagers, who dwell on the ground, Soarers fly through the skies, hence their name, with the help of their phantom wingsuit. They wear skeletal armor, as well as demonic iron helmets. Their current leader, titled captain, is Sir Eclipsor.

Riders[]

IoI Rider Soldier

The Riders are another new occupation of Illagers exclusive to the Imperialism of Illagers series. Hence their name, Riders mount on Ravagers or horses and use them in wars. They wear unique armor and are equipped with long iron spears.

Killager[]

Main article: Killager

Killagers are evil blue versions of villagers. They dwell in swamps and will attack players and villagers. The nature of their relationship with the visually and behaviorally similar Illagers is unclear.

Village Golem[]

Main article: Village Golem
VillageGolem

The Village Golem is an odd and atypical mob only encountered in Mob Sieges if the player has angered a village to a ridiculous degree without managing to kill all of the villagers. Despite its ridiculous appearance, consisting of several villagers clinging together to form one monstrous body, its 80 health makes it a formidable foe.

It may rarely drop pieces of coveted Emerald Armor.
