Darklings are black, red-eyed, villagers. They reside in Darkling villages, dark fortress, Evil treehouse, Chaoruptted barracks, and have a rare spawn anywere else. NOTE: they ARE hostile and all darkling villages have at least 1 obsidian golem protecting them.
How to find[]
If you kill the enderdragon, then you can use the dragon egg (along with 4 nether stars and 4 diamonds) to craft a table of the darkness that lets you craft 5x5

At this new table, you can craft this item that points to the nearest dark structure (besides dark fortress)

It looks like a SOLID black compass with a purple arrow. This will lead you to the nearest dark structure.
VARIANTS[]
Darkling minion[]
the darkling minion is weak and pitiful. it represents a darkling with a diamond sword. Has 50 heart points (endermen have 40) they can pick up armor and do 3 hearts of damage. (7 with their diamond sword)
Darkling overseer[]
Often found leading groups of darkling minions, they represent darklings with iron armor and a diamond whip (giving them a semi-ranged attack) they have 65 hp and do 4 hearts of damage (9 with their diamond whip)
Darkling Scientist[]
Everywhere darklings live, there's a lab. and every lab there is one of these guys. At the end of a laboratory there is always one of these guys. they represent a darkling with a scientist outfit and red goggles. But...an experiment went wrong and it has 5 lashing tentacles! this is a MINIBOSS not an enemy. 250 hp, tentacles do 12 hearts of damage, AND throws potions.
Darkling mutant[]
Just a darkling minion with tentacles that do 9 hearts of damage. Rare spawn outside the lab, common spawn inside the lab.
Darkling lab minion[]
Looks like the scientist without the tentacles, but it does throw potions and is equipped with a diamond sword. (5 of these spawn when you enter the lab) they have acces to "darkness empower" potion that makes them stronger and makes you weaker. 75 HP and 7 Hearts of damage (with their diamond sword)
Obsidian golem[]
1 each residing place and unlimited for the dark fortress. Just like an iron golem but 300 hp and is hostile. And is made of obsidian. (hitting it for 30 seconds of a diamond pickaxe will make it fall over for 5 seconds. during this period all attacks do 50% more damage)
