"Whatcha doin'?" Julia strolled into Mike's workshop. He made a ton of really weird inventions there.
"A time machine," said Mike, so casually that he might as well as said he made sandwiches for lunch.
"A TIME MACHINE!?"
"No, I meant a robot duck with 10 legs," he said sarcastically. "Yes. A TIME MACHINE. Learn to listen."
"Can I try it though?"
"Not yet," Mike answered. "But maybe in another hour."
As much as Julia wanted to use the time machine, she had learned her lesson when she had once got electrocuted with a Electronist. She went back to her tower and resumed making the Invisibility Multiplier, her newest invention.
