Withoid Creepers are a three-headed variant of creeper present in the Withus.
Spawning[]
Withoid Creepers naturally spawn in the Withus on top of solid blocks with a light level of 7 or less. Their spawn is uncommon, but not rare.
Drops[]
- 0–2 Gunpowder
- A random music disc if killed by a skeleton.
- A creeper head if killed by a charged creeper
- A wither skull, very rarely
Behavior[]
Unless stated otherwise, Withoid Creepers perform in an identical manner to regular creepers.
Withoid Creepers have two stages of attack. In the first stage they adopt a skeleton-like movement AI, attempting to stay out of the player's reach. During this stage they "fire" their heads at the player much like wither skulls. Upon impact they produce an explosion similar to that of a ghast fireball, with a smaller explosive radius. When both miniature heads have been fired at the player, the Withoid Creeper reverts to creeper AI, walking towards the player and exploding.
Boss[]
The Withoid Creeper has a miniboss form, the Hydra Creeper. These spawn in Hydra Caves in the Withus.
